Melissa McCarthy's New 'All Size' Clothing Line Breaks the Fashion Rules (PHOTOS)

Melissa McCarthy Seven 7 Okay, here's yet another reason to love Melissa McCarthy (as if there weren't enough already!). For her new clothing line, Melissa McCarthy Seven7, she wants to take the "plus" out of plus size and stop isolating larger-size shoppers, as she says, "over by the tire section." This is an "all size" line, with the same items available in regular or plus. The clothes are also equal-opportunity cute! *faints*

Like many women, the actress says she's worn a range of sizes -- from a 6 to a 12 and above. McCarthy noticed her options shrinking as the size numbers climbed. Turns out, she's wanted to be a designer since she was a girl. She came to New York to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology, but stand-up comedy and stratospheric success on TV and film got in the way.

Circling back around, she's just launched a clothing line to debut now into the fall. Prices range from $54 to $169, and the line will be available at retailers like Nordstrom, Belk, Macy's, and Lane Bryant, as well as on (Note: The complete run of sizes will be available only on and; some retailers are featuring the plus sizes only.)

The news here is that the cute pieces -- sassy bow-neck shirts, sophisticated floral tunics, animal-print pants, jeans and more jeans -- are available in regular and plus sizes. Sizes are 4 to 16 and 14 to 28 for bottoms. On top, it's S to L or 1X to 4X.

We think the actress-designer and her coworkers will have lots of great, fun outfits to wear when they change out of their lady Ghostbusters uniforms.
