Iggy Azalea Admits to Getting a Nose Job, But Something Doesn’t Quite Add Up (PHOTO)

Say what you will about Iggy Azalea, but the rapper has one thing not many celebs can claim: honesty and transparency. She owned up to a boob job back in April, and now Iggy's talking publicly about her recent nose job, saying it was "an emotional journey" and that if you try to hide plastic surgery, you're "totally lame." Oooh-kay, Iggy.

Here's the thing: I actually think it's great that Iggy is talking about her surgery. The tabloids (and everyone else) would figure it out even if she weren't saying anything, but that's not even the point. It's nice and healthy that she's being so transparent about how she ended up looking the way she does.

Which, by the way, is like this now:

She looks great, but at the same time, she's being supremely hypocritical. She told Us Weekly that "it's important to remember you can't change everything. You can never be perfect." And it's true. It's something a lot of us spend many years learning, and it's a huge relief when we finally figure that out.

So she's telling us that she embraces her imperfections ... and then she surgically altered her body so she could have a perfect nose and a perfect chin and perfect breasts.

Doesn't that feel like it just doesn't add up?

Iggy also called plastic surgery "difficult" ... which isn't something we normally consider it to be:

Plastic surgery is an emotional journey ... It's no easy feat to live with your flaws and accept yourself -- and it's no easy feat to change yourself.

But to most of us, plastic surgey seems like an extremely easy feat. It seems like the easy way out. You don't have to learn to love your big nose because it can be small and perfect, for the right price.

So it's interesting to hear her call it difficult. It's not something I've considered before.

At the end of the day the plastic surgery question is one that's entirely personal. If she wants to look different, she can. Mostly, I'm excited about how open she is about all this ... I just wish she had something a little more coherent to say.
