Nicole Kidman Vogue CoverOf course Aussie stunner and Hollywood icon Nicole Kidman looks flawless on the cover of Vogue's August issue. Inside the mag, the 48-year-old actress dishes on married life and motherhood, and her confessions to the fashion mag might explain what some critics are saying about her photo.

Though she's wearing a gorgeous, sequined Marc Jacobs gown, as commenters on the designer's Instagram pointed out, Mrs. Keith Urban doesn't appear too happy. Some went so far as to say she looks "miserable." Take a peek:

But, c'mon people, really? She looks amazing, and this is high fashion. It's not like she was snapped walking down the street or on her way into the MTV Video Music Awards, right?

In response to the comments on his Instagram post, Jacobs was quick to come to Kidman's defense, writing:

All you haters ... When were you last given a cover of Vogue? Damn people have a lot of negative energy..!!

But in the Vogue interview, Kidman does seem at the very least somewhat melancholy, expressing her wish that she and Urban had had the chance to meet sooner and share a larger family. She explains:

I wish I could have met him much earlier and had way more children with him. But I didn't. I mean, if I could have had two more children with him, that would have been just glorious. But as Keith says, 'The wanting mind, Nicole. Shut it down.'

Awwww, that sort of goes hand-in-hand with her wistful expression, doesn't it? The mom of Sunday and Faith, fathered by Keith, also has two adopted children, Connor and Isabella, with former husband Tom Cruise. But it seems the elder children are largely in her ex's care, so it makes sense that maybe she's longing for a larger family with Keith.

In a sweet way, it's a testament to how much she's enjoying married life. Perhaps that happiness is what makes her glow on the Vogue cover -- and that's what we should be focusing on.
