Ever notice that a lot of times it's the kids who are all dolled up for holiday gatherings while parents are lucky if they even have on matching socks? Is it that we spend all our time getting the little ones ready, but have no time for ourselves?
Here on Beauty & Style Buzz, I featured two articles on ideas for dressing up:
You can check those out for inspiration and I'll be featuring some more this week including holiday hair-dos and makeup ideas.

Every year, I get to attend a chic holiday party for my husband's company's party. It's awesome. It's an excuse to buy--and actually wear--a pretty new dress. But I'm terribly girly. I wore a dress to a casual local Christmas fundraiser just so I'd have an excuse to get out of my Old Navy chicken pajamas and get gussied up.
Nope. I prefer to be comfortable as much as possible. I have to dress for work so any home time is spent in something a notch above pajamas.
We dress up a little for Christmas Eve, but Christmas Day is pretty casual. The first year we stayed home for Santa, my husband teased me when I wore pajamas to my brother's Christmas afternoon affair. I wasn't ready to let go of my family tradition just yet. I had always hung out with my fam in PJs on Christmas...
lol it's only me and the boys and my mom for christmas so i get to stay in my pj's all day which i just love. i do that all the time if i am off and have no where to go i stay in my pj's best thing.
