Full Hair the Easy Way

“Mommy,” my daughter Emma said. “Can I play with your hair?”

“Of course you can, Honey,” I answered for the three-dozenth time in her life.

She sat me down and started running her fingers through my long hair.

“Never mind,” she said sadly. “Your hair’s too flat.”

Now, I’ve been rejected by way harsher critics than my daughter, so I didn’t think any more about it until I stumbled upon a video on CafeMom’s Mad Life’s Beauty Breaks. The glam squad (who I simply adore!) was talking with a mom of two who wanted more voluminous hair. What caught my attention was the reference to J.Lo and her full and luscious hair. Because, really, who wouldn’t want hair like J.Lo’s? I watched the whole thing through and realized that my hair problems could be cured with a simple trip to Target!

All I needed was right on the shelves at Target, Dove Oxygen Moisture for my shampoo and conditioner and Toni & Guy’s Glamour Volume Plumping Whip to “volumize the roots.” TRESemme TRES TWO Extra Hold Hairspray would keep my flyaway hairs in line while holding a style all day long. So inexpensive and so easy to use!

The next morning I washed my hair, added the Toni & Guy Whip, and blew dry my hair with a barrel brush.

I looked in the mirror, and sure enough, my hair was noticeably fuller. Now it’s become a part of my daily routine, and it’s unbelievable how many compliments I get. I may not look like J.Lo, but my hair is “big” enough now to make my hairdresser daughter proud!

How do you make your hair look fuller?
