Regular women everywhere have been coveting the Duchess of Cambridge's style since the moment she first stepped on the scene as Prince William's girlfriend. But now it seems that Kate's influence is so major that even one of the most celebrated supermodels in all the land has been copping her look! Yup, I'm talkin' 'bout cover girl Kate Upton.
The blonde bombshell was hanging out in Australia this past week for the Melbourne Cup, and in snaps taken on the red carpet at the VRC Oaks Club Luncheon, Kate was sporting a cream suit, nude (!!!) heels, and the "crowning" touch -- a black fascinator hat! Don't tell me you don't see how it all looks QUITE familiar?

See? It truly looks as though Kate Upton -- or at least her stylist -- was inspired by the Duchess's ensemble at the Queen's Birthday Parade back in 2011. And while she pulls it off flawlessly, I feel like the look isn't her best.
To be fair, Kate U. would look good in a brown paper bag, but she rocks red dresses and brightly hued swimwear better than most of us could ever dare to. That said, the polished, neutral palette that the Duchess has made her own and always looks incredible in looks sort of, well, blah on Kate U. It's just not her ...
But I don't exactly blame her for trying! Or for simply loving Duchess Catherine's style. Because after all, let's be honest: At this point, who doesn't?!
