Just when we thought we couldn't admire Lea Michele any more for her grace in the face of so much tragedy and grief these past few months, the Glee star continues to look so impressively polished and put together! Her style's definitely evolved over the past couple of years. You only have to look at one of her latest looks to see how she's taken her previously innocent, girly, and preppy style to the next level by rocking a more mature but still playful and feminine, Audrey Hepburn-ish aesthetic.
At the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's panel yesterday, she wore a sophisticated, colorblocked, A-line style dress by Fausto Puglisi, Rupert Sanderson ankle-strap black sandals, and a Donatienne clutch. Love!
The way the pops of lavender and sunny yellow work with the classic black fitted top portion is gorgeous, but I'm also loving the clean lines of the pleats paired with the sexy strappy heels. The look is working on so many levels! No wonder Lea took to Instagram to share it with her followers.
What's sort of a bummer is that if you want to adopt the look, a Fausto Puglisi frock like Lea's retails for upwards of $2K. Eeek! But the good news is that there are similar looks galore -- like an array of colorblocked A-line dresses from Modcloth.com. Then, all you have to do on your own is wear black heels, grab a black clutch, and hit the town. Thanks for the style inspiration, Lea!
What do you think about Lea's feminine, polished look?
