Shooties and Booties: Fall's Hottest Shoes

Style Savvy 0

Lord & Taylor

If you've been looking for a more comfortable alternative to heels, you're in for a treat this fall.

Booties and shooties -- a lace-up boot/shoe hybrid -- are everywhere this fall. You can wear them this season with dresses and skirts for a fashion-forward look, which is great because they're much more practical than stilettos.

I love these Adrienne Vittadini shooties (Lord & Taylor, $139), for example, which would go with just about everything.

And there are lots more options to meet any budget. Here are some of my personal favorites.

MacysI am hardcore lusting after these Michael Kors shooties (Macy's, $265), which also come in black. If I could, I'd buy both colors. As it stands, I'm putting these shoes on sale alert.

NordstromAlso in the dream department, we have these super-luxe Jeffrey Campbell booties (Nordstrom, $229.95), which combine the bootie look with the quilted trend. I love these booties!

Macy's
I could easily say yes, on the other hand, to these hot Vince Camuto booties (Macy's, $139) -- if I didn't already have a pair that looks very similar. LOVE THESE.

6pmOn a budget? No worries. These Michael Antonio shooties (6pm, $45.99) will keep you looking stylish.

6pmAnd check out these fab Mojo Moxie booties (6pm, $79.99). You deserve these, girl. Yes you do.

DSWI'm crazy about these Impo Ochoa booties (DSW, $49.95), which feature a more reasonable heel and also come in black.

BloomingdalesAnd you can't go wrong with leopard print this fall. (Well, you can, but that's another post for another time.) I'm partial to these Vince Camuto booties (Bloomingdale's, $129). How about you?

So tell me, ladies. Will you wear shooties and booties this fall?
