Former Victoria's Secret Angel Miranda Kerr is speaking out as to why she and the lingerie store have parted ways. She, unsurprisingly, is claiming that it's not, in fact, because she's "difficult", as some reports are claiming. Kerr instead says that it's because she's too busy being a spokesperson for Mango, KORA Organics, Qantas, Clear Hair & Scalp Therapy, Samantha Thavasa, and Reebok to waste her time parading around in a pair of gigantic wings that, let's face it, are totally unwearable.
Okay, she didn't say it exactly like that, and she is planning on walking in the Victoria's Secret fashion show still, but that was the general gist.
In regards to rumors that Kerr is "difficult", the model told the Sydney Morning Herald: "I'm sure anyone that has worked with me would agree that it's not true." She also added: "I'm just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time. It's three months at a bare minimum." AKA, Miranda Kerr was fired because she's a bitch. Just kidding! We'll never know the real deal behind this story, guys, but I would be fairly surprised if the reason she was let go was because she was difficult. Aren't lots of models difficult? And aren't they hired because they're fun to look at, as opposed to being pleasant to be around? Has no one heard of Naomi Campbell?
Ah, well, whatever. I'm sure Miranda will be fine. As will Vicky's Secret. Seems like there will always be a great deal of people who want to walk around with the word PINK emblazoned across their ass, regardless of who's advertising.
But as for the wings -- they're going to need someone pretty damn special to sell those. So not practical.
Why do you think Miranda Kerr was fired?
