Brandi Glanville's Burned Face Will Make You Cringe in Horror (PHOTO)

Brandi GlanvilleAfter viewing an image of Brandi Glanville's burned face, I'm not sure whether to bathe from head to toe in a vat of petroleum jelly, go hide in a closet somewhere, or throw up in my mouth a little bit.

You guys, she did this to herself on purpose, in an effort to help with her melasma, a discoloration of the skin. She underwent a laser treatment and posted a photo of herself afterwards to Twitter along with the following tweet:

"Doctor said he could get rid of my melasma. It was too hard for my skin. Still healing, its been depressing #skinobsessed."

Here it is. I warned you.

Brandi Glanville

OMG! Ok, so I have a good friend who also suffers from melasma and it drives her nuts sometimes, but I highly doubt she'd go to the extreme of literally having her skin burned off to correct it!

I know there's a ton of pressure among celeb moms to look young and have smooth, flawless, youthful skin -- but resorting to lasers? Really? I mean, just look at her. She looks like someone took a blow torch to her face -- and you know it has to be pretty painful.

And as someone who believes in the whole "aging gracefully" philosophy, I just don't get why anyone would go to lengths like this to shave a couple years off.

I don't care how old, saggy, or dull my skin gets -- I refuse to go anywhere near Botox, lasers, or any sort of plastic surgery procedure. At 35, I'm actually ok with looking 35, because trying to look 25 again will only make me look like a 35-year-old woman who is kidding herself into thinking she's a hot, young 20-something.

Don't get me wrong, I take good care of my skin and try and maintain a youthful glow -- but I don't go past a good eye cream, regular exfoliation, and wearing moisturizer 24 hours a day.

And if I ever wind up with age spots or any other sort of discoloration in pigment, there's no way in hell I'm burning my face off as a means of controlling it.

(But I probably would invest in a heavy duty concealer.)

Would you ever resort to laser treatments like the one Brandi had?
