Snooki Changes Her Hair Color Again & We Hope It's the Last Time (PHOTO)

SnookiAhh! There she is. Snooki finally dyed her hair back to the jet black color we're all used to, and now she just looks so much more, well -- like Snooki. (And the bangs are a cute touch!)

Granted, the red hue she went for a few months back was fun, fresh, and exciting. But I gotta say, I really prefer her with super dark hair, because it just seems to suit her better.

And her reason for going back to black makes so much sense. Snooki admits that she loved her red strands, but says, "Running around with Lorenzo and working, it’s just too hard to maintain the red color every two weeks!"

Um, yeah. Keeping up with your roots is kind of a drag when you have a baby in tow.

But somehow I'm guessing there's another thing that prompted Snooki to ditch the red in favor of her natural looking, ebony shade. Odds are good that she wanted to feel like herself again.

Or at least that's how my experiments with changing my normal hair color have gone. This winter, I decided to go a lot darker, adding in plenty of chocolate colored low-lights instead of the blond highlights I usually get at every salon appointment. And while I liked being a brunette for a little while, eventually I started feeling pretty frumpy and washed out.

And that's why a couple weeks ago, I went blond again, which is the best decision I've made in a long time regarding my appearance. It's so strange, it's like going back to blond restored my "glow" or something like that. I feel like myself again -- and it's made me feel more confident and content. It's even given me more motivation to get out of my yoga pants rut and put on a nice outfit and makeup every day.

Honestly, I probably never should've went for such a drastic change in the first place -- and the same goes for Snooki. How's that old saying go? "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

Yeah, it applies to hair color too.

Of course, once summer is over and we start feeling a fall chill in the air, I'm sure Snooki, I, and plenty of other women will start to get a hankering for a new color again. (Who are we kidding? We're never satisfied.)
