Maci Bookout went on spring break to Daytona Beach, Florida and snapped some selfies with her besties (so, er, I guess they're not technically selfies, but you know what I mean). She showed off her hot bikini body in the pics, as well as her tattoos. As any fan of Teen Mom knows, the women on the show love them some body art as much as they love their children, and Maci's no exception. Girl's skin is covered in ink.
Personally and subjectively, I find them to be some of the worst tattoos I've seen in a while (what is up with the crooked cupcakes for "O"s?), but after seeing this picture she shared on Instagram, I have a new respect for her choice of ink.

To borrow a line from the inimitable Cher Horowitz from the classic film Clueless, Maci's tats are a full-on Monet. "It's like a painting, see? From far away, it's OK, but up close, it's a big old mess."
And here, in this photo, we're far enough away that Maci's tattoos become less individually offensive and more generally acceptable.
Because I'm sure Maci cares deeply about what I think regarding her personal decision to ink up her body, I'd like to offer her a concession and say that from a distance, her tattoos aren't as horrible as I'd originally thought. That ripped piece of paper on her back is the new "Poppies Blooming."
Claude would be thrilled with the reference, I'm sure.
Do you like Maci's tattoos?
