brandi glanvilleFor a red carpet fashion correspondent, poor Brandi Glanville wasn't very fashionable. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star hosted a segment of an Oscars pre-show in which she interviewed stars about who they're wearing, but unfortunately forgot to get dressed herself. In a nude dress with a diving V and a slit up to here, Brandi looked, well, naked and, worse, kinda cheap.

I'm usually a big fan of whatever Brandi does and/or wears, but yikes, this was a miss and then some. It all makes sense, though, once you find out who designed the barely-there frock.

So ... which designer stood behind gluing two otter tails to Brandi's nipples and calling it a dress? Brandi herself. She told Rumor Fix that she designed the dress in collaboration with her team from her upcoming clothing line, BrandB.

I don't know about you, but if this is what BrandB is going to be putting in stores, thanks but no thanks. If I wanted to go naked to an event, I'd just go naked.

It's too bad Brandi didn't look her best Sunday night -- I feel like she look the supposed easy way out and went for a look that appealed to the lowest common denominator, but as a purported "fashion expert", I would've like to have seen her in something, I don't know, fashionable. More skin doesn't mean more style.

She does, however, deserve some recognition -- if there was an award for the stickiest double-sided tape used on the red carpet, I'm sure Brandi would take home the top prize.
