jennifer lawrence in silver linings playbookThe stars were out last night for the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards! And although we were obviously paying attention to who snagged the "Actor" for their stunning performances in the year's best movies -- like Silver Linings Playbook and Lincoln -- and TV -- like 30 Rock and Modern Family -- we were also obviously checking out who wore what (or, as they'd ask on the red carpet, who wore "who").

Here, the top 3 best-dressed celebs and the top 3 worst at this year's SAG Awards ...

  • Best: Jennifer Garner

Though she wasn't nominated herself, Jennifer Garner was quite the supportive spouse to multiple nominee hubby Ben Affleck, and stunned in this glimmering, glitzy, Hollywood perfect Oscar De La Renta gold gown.

  • Worst: Jennifer Lawrence

I figured the Silver Linings Playbook star would stay at home last night, since she was battling pneumonia! But she managed to show up looking really put together in a lovely, extremely fitted navy blue Dior gown and Chopard jewels. Nothing wrong with the look overall, but I'm not a fan of the split skirt at the knee, which a.) looked uncomfortable and b.) led to what appeared to be a wardrobe malfunction when she walked up onstage to receive her award for Best Actress.

  • Best: Kerry Washington

Love love loved the Django Unchained actress' corset and lace train of her Rodarte gown, which was so different than what you usually see on the red carpet and added some bonus interest to an otherwise classic look. Wouldn't be surprised if this inspires some bridal trends, too!

  • Worst: Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway may have taken home The Actor trophy for Best Supporting Female Actor, but her fashion choice wasn't as beloved as her Les Miserables performance. She wore a Giambattista Valli dress, with its sheer shoulders and skirt, paired with custom vegan Jimmy Choo shoes, Kwiat jewels, and an Eddie Parker clutch. It just seemed so dark and dreary, not to mention ill-fitting. Not a fan of the miniskirt-slash-tulle look either. One or the other would have looked better.

  • Best: Marion Cotillard

J'adore Rust & Bone star Marion Cotillard's Dior haute couture dress, Dior heels, and Chopard jewelry. She tends to be a Dior loyalist and we can see why! The blue and white combo was surprisingly different and gorgeous, as was the complex skirt. Magnifique!

  • Worst: Sofia Vergara

The Modern Family star won big last night, but this shimmery white Donna Karan Atelier gown was not her best moment. The asymmetrical and off-the-shoulder neckline didn't seem to work for her notoriously voluptuous bust (which she actually joked about in the show's opening). It was an attempt at sexy that just ended up looking sloppy.
