'Teen Mom' Kailyn Lowry Is Right -- Her Tattoos Aren't 'Unprofessional' (PHOTO)

kailyn lowryAll Teen Moms have their fair share of haters for various reasons. But Kailyn Lowry has been getting shit lately for a totally ridiculous non-issue: Her tattoos. I know. People care so much about what Lowry decides to do to her body that she's been getting a barrage of nasty comments via the usually incredibly kind Twitter, telling her that she looks unprofessional, trashy, etc.

But Kailyn silenced her haters (or at least attempted to) when she posted two photos of herself: One showing her tattoos; one covering them, proving how easy it is to hide them. I mean, seriously, people, have you never heard of a blazer?

First off, it's 2013. Everybody and their mother have tattoos, so I really don't think a little ink (or a lot) is a make or break kind of thing when job-hunting. (Unless you have, like, a giant cobra across your face and you're looking to get a job as a lawyer.) And second of all, even if a business doesn't want to see tattoos bobbing around the corridors of the office, they're an easy thing to hide. Just throw on a blazer, like Kailyn. Or pretty much anything other than a tank top.

There are a lot bigger things in the world to worry about than what people choose to do with their bodies. Like what you're going to eat for dinner, or whether you should cut bangs. I mean, seriously dudes, who cares?

What do you think of Kailyn's tattoos? Do you have any tattoos?

Kailyn's are easy to hide and don't bother me. But what bothers me are the people living off welfare who gets tattoos on their hands, across their chest, etc. Let's face it ladies... With tattoos across your chest or just below your neck, are you really thinking about getting a job that you'll just wear turtlenecks to everyday? Most women's tops/sweaters, even with a subtle V-neck, could reveal those. And how do you cover tattoos on your hands/fingers?

I think tattoos are trashy. Period.

her type of tattoo isn't really my style (not into skulls) but I don't think they are trashy. I am debating if I am putting my memorial tattoo on my shoulder blade or on my rib cage.

I think if someone wants to get tattoos and still wants to be able to look professional just put them in a place where they are easily covered up like Kailyn's. I think hers are fine what she chooses to put on her body is her business. I don't personally like tattoos so I don't chose to put them on my body.

I have several tattoos but all can be covered up easily. I'm in the military and while some can be shown I'd rather not because I don't feel its professional either. I also want to take in account that when I have grandkids I don't want to go on play dates or whatnot and have saggy tattoos...just my opinion though...

Tatttoos are just not for me but I cannot not decide how others treat their body or decide to look.

I love my tattoos. I also have a full chest piece of *gasp* flowers and stars!!!!!

I hate people like Cole's mom up there who will judge someone for their tattoos. That's trashy, not what I choose to do with my own body.

well cole's mom, i think judging people is trashy, so to each their own....

I love my tattoos. I only have two fairly small ones and both are usually covered when I am at work. Sometimes my ankle tattoo shows at work with I am wearing a skirt and summer shoes. If it were ever a problem, I would just wear long pants and / or socks. It's a non-issue.

I love my tattoos. I have a larger size one on my shoulder blade and a small one on my wrist. I also have plans for 2-3 more. Mine are easily hidden and I make sure that is a possibility when choosing to get them. I think kailyn is fine!
