Awards season is in full swing, and it was highly obvious that (most of) Hollywood's A-listers came dressed to impress at the Golden Globe Awards last night. Hands down, one of my favorite gowns of the evening was Jennifer Lawrence's amazing red Dior dress. Did she look stunning or what?
And if I had to pick a second best for the Golden Globes, Julianne Moore's custom Tom Ford frock was simply perfection. I mean, you really can't go wrong with a look that's classy, simple, and sophisticated, right?
Of course, with any awards show, there are always a few ladies who take way too big of a fashion risk, and wind up being a huge red carpet eyesore. (Why don't they get a second opinion before taking the plunge?)

Adeles dress should not be on a best dressed list IMO. What was so special about it?
Although left off your list, I will say that JLo looked amazing. If I had a body like that I would wear that dress without hesitation. Jennifer Lawrence dress was fabulous as well as Jessica Albas. Salm Hayek also looked great. Worst dressed for me was sadly, Anne Hathaway. The dress did her figure no justice.
As for the men, Jamie Fox looked sharp! And of course I will say Leo DiCaprio as usual, he can do no wrong.
I actually do not like Marion Cotillard's dress and like Nichole Kidmans.
These kinds of lists are always subjective... I thought Nicole Kidman's and Taylor Swift's dresses were far more glam than Kate Hudson's. But, that Julianne More dress? Honestly, make it two piece and split the skirt into pants...and it would look a lot like a jogging suit I had in the early 90's. That one would definitely be on the worst list for me. J-Lo looked great!!!
The only one I missed the mark is Adele. She always looks the same. Black dress, bouffant hair-do. She needs a make-over and needs to realize that just because she's not a stick figure, doesn't mean she can't wear color.
Worst dressed: Amy Poehler. She looked like she was deliberately gunning for a nip slip with every outfit that she wore. Have some class, woman!
I liked the dresses that Nicole Kidman and Taylor Swift were wearing. Their hair killed the looks for them. Nicole Kidman's was too wild looking, she should have tamed it down to temper her statement making dress. Taylor Swift's hair was too slicked back and severe, she needed something slightly softer for her very feminine dress. Other than that, I agree with the list.
