Um, move over every other young actress in Hollywood -- because you're simply not the town's "it" girl anymore. Nope. There were already hints of that title being stolen as soon as Hunger Games came out -- and after seeing Jennifer Lawrence's amazeballs Dior Haute Couture gown on the Golden Globes red carpet tonight, it's highly obvious she's become the Hollywood starlet who every almost twenty-something wants to be. (Yes, it's true.)
When I first saw Jennifer on the red carpet, I thought she looked pretty darn gorgeous (despite the reports that she's currently suffering from a bout of the flu) -- but after she took the stage to give her speech for winning Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for her role in Silver Linings Playbook?
Yeah. I have a major beef to pick with her haters -- in particular the ones who have called her fat.
OMG. OMG. OMG. In that red dress, her waist appeared to be roughly the circumference of the average woman's thigh. (For reals.)
For the LAST time -- Jennifer Lawrence is NOT fat, not even remotely close. I mean, seriously? It's puzzling that anyone has ever referred to her as fat, curvy -- or obese (yes, someone went there) for that matter. And after tonight? That dress definitely should shut up her critics and make them think twice about ever making derogatory comments about her bangin' bod again.
And I think it's safe to say there is definitely one dude in the room tonight who couldn't take his eyes of Jen and her amazing red frock. Yes, I'm talking about her Silver Linings Playbook co-star, Bradley Cooper -- who just happens to be single again, and guess what? So is she. Jennifer just broke up with Nicholas Hoult, leaving her single and ready to mingle.
(Who else thinks she and Bradley should totally hook up? Wouldn't they be adorbs together?)
What did you think of Jennifer's red gown tonight? And why do you think people keep calling her fat?
