What's that saying ... the couple that tattoos together stays together? Yeah, something like that. Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans thinks so, anyway. The newly married star is no stranger to ink and added a new piece to her collection over the weekend of a skull with a feather headband and rose detailing. I've gotta admit, skulls really aren't my thing, but for some reason -- I find this little gem oddly beautiful. Much better than her thigh leopard, that's for sure.
Her hubby Courtland Rogers opted for something on the different side, a Confederate flag type design on his side. It's personally not my cup of tea, but I think it's sort of sweet that they're going through the process of getting ink done together.
I can't help but wonder, though, would Jenelle have gone so ... hardcore ... if Courtland wasn't around? Would you let someone you love influence such a big decision?
People get tattoos for different reasons. Oftentimes, they mark a big life occurrence or event and have to do with one specific person. Yeah, 99 percent of the time, it's a silly decision to get someone's name tattooed across your arm, but to get a tattoo with someone in mind? Hey, it could definitely be worse. Sure, looking at this tattoo may always remind her of Courtland whether they stay together or not. However, the way I see it, the ink will always symbolize a stage in her life.

Personally, I don't have any tattoos. My boyfriend, though, has a whole slew of them now and he always explains them to me in reference to where he got them and how at that specific time it was just something he really wanted. That's what makes them worthwhile, I think. His different tattoos document memories he wanted to hold onto forever, big or small.
Hey, I like that. If I had more cojones, maybe I'd have some, too. For Jenelle, I'm interested to see what comes next. With her track record, something tells me it's only a matter of time until we're seeing something else. A half sleeve, perhaps?
What do you think of Jenelle's new tattoo? Do you think it was inspired by her time with Courtland?
