Are you sitting? Because you should be sitting for this huge news. Kim Kardashian is a liar and a thief. Yesterday, she implied that she got bangs (lies!) and stole the attention we could've paid to really important things like Kristen Stewart's boobs and LeAnn Rimes' song about sleeping with a married man (thief!). You guys, Kim Kardashian's bangs are fake. Fake!
That trickster. We've been fooled! I guess, though, there's a light at the end of this horribly dark and shameful tunnel that is Bang Gate 2012 (not to be confused with Bang Gate 2007 that co-starred Ray J).
Now we know that clip-on bangs can look very realistic.
Kim admitted to Us Weekly that those bangs she was wearing yesterday was a prosthetic hairpiece; famed hairstylist to the stars Chris McMillan used them to give her a Sophia Loren look for a Cosmopolitan magazine shoot.
Chris is responsible for giving Jennifer Aniston the "Rachel" and giving Miley Cyrus the, uh, the not-shaved Miley Cyrus this spring, so the guy knows what he's doing.
If you're interested in clipping in some of your own fake bangs, you don't need a professional, though. Jessica Simpson's got a great line of fake hair extensions, including a blunt bang clip-in, that you can try, or, if you have a lot of time on your hands, you could learn how to fake your own fake bangs using your real hair from this talented person on YouTube.
Or, you know, you could get bangs the old-fashioned way and cut them, but that's, like, soooo 2011.
Have you ever tried fake bangs?
