Every time I see a picture in a magazine of a lingerie model looking all sultry and voluptuous in a beautiful bra, I tend to glance down at my own measly little A-cup chest and shrug my shoulders -- because I realize no matter how hard I try, I'll never be able to pull off the sex kitten thing.
Because in order to really rock a bra and have an undeniable "oomph" factor going on, you kind of need to have some "oomph" under your shirt as a prerequisite.
That's right ladies -- the bra industry is totally geared for gals with substantial ta-tas, and that's why I pretty much shudder at the thought of going bra shopping anymore.
It's a waste of time. It's a pain in the rear end. And most of all, seeing all of those pretty bras on the store racks that I can only dream of wearing is nothing but a huge tease.
And that's why whenever I set out to go bra shopping, I usually wind up perusing the lingerie department for 10 or 15 minutes before finally giving up because all of the bras that are geared for my size look fairly similar to what I already have, so there's really no need to buy a new one.
Now don't get me wrong, I actually love being an A-cup and wouldn't ever change the minuscule size of my bosom simply because I worry that having larger breasts would make me look fatter, and also shopping for tops is a piece of cake. (If I can't have cute bras, then by golly I deserve a few cute shirts to make up for it.)
But I guess finding bras hasn't been a complete failure, as I do have three old standbys right now that I love wearing simply because they're really comfortable and don't give me bra-line bulge.
- Coobie -- Ok, so this thing is pretty awesome. It's basically a sports bra that isn't a sports bra, and actually, it doesn't even feel like you're wearing a bra when you put it on. (Winning.)
- Victoria's Secret Ipex -- I have a few of these and really like them, mainly because they are wireless and seamless under clothing. But I couldn't find the damn thing on their website, so maybe they don't even make that style anymore. (Shows how long it's been since I bought new bras.)
- Calvin Klein T-shirt Bra -- Again, I dig the seamless thing, and these do at least offer a little bit of shape.
But let's forget about the comfort factor for a second. It would be really, really nice if it were just a little bit easier to find suitable bras that not only fit well, but also looked just as sexy and flattering as those that are made for more well endowed women.
Sure sounds easy enough, so why in the heck is it so hard?
Do you have any good suggestions for A-cup bras that are comfortable and sexy?

Try finding a cute, sexy bra in a triple d! They don't exist in stores, and if a store does carry that size, it's usually a granny playtex bra lol.
Tst - the only problem of walking around without a bra is that we A cups still have nipples. Unless your shirt is quite thick and its not chilly outside, that doesn't really work. And my even my 32 A's can bounce a bit when I walk.
I've seen the most cute bras for B and C cups honestly. I'm the smallest A there is and I can barely find bras period much less that are cute and not too tight.
I'd just like to add, to me at least, it is obvious that both ends of the spectrum(very small breasts and very large breasts) are equally hard to find good bras for.
I agree with both the comments on here. I am a G cup and I can only find "sexy" bra's if I am willing to spend $100+ on them and then they are still "sexy" by a 70 yr old standards. I can't even go to a store to buy my bras I have to order them because stores don't even stock my size. Even Lane Bryant has to order them and I am on the smaller end of the Lane Bryant size range when it comes to everything else. I think if you aren't of average cup size meaning B to D then you just don't count to the standard bra makers.
To the 2 commentors who have seen all these cute A cup bras, where did you see them and do you by chance remember if they went all the way down to 32? I ask cause I'm really sick of wearing the same black bra every day!
Yeah, mine are F's and there is no store in existance where I can actually go bra shop. It's frustrating because if you look at me, it's not like I'm some kind of freak - they look the same size as tons of other women's boobs. So what gives? Why do only b-cup and c-cup ladies get the good bras? Boooo.
