'50 Shades of Grey' Lingerie at Victoria’s Secret Would Have Moms Screaming Yes! Yes! Yes!

by Mary Fischer on November 13, 2012 at 11:21 AM

Victoria's SecretPlenty of women, and moms in particular, have been inspired to spice things up in the bedroom after reading Fifty Shades of Grey. And a big part of making things steamier is stocking up on a few sexy pieces of lingerie to set the perfect mood and "get things rolling" before the lights go out.

But buying racy lingerie can be a bit intimidating for moms, not to mention really embarrassing, because most of the more risque stuff is sold in adult stores, or stores that have a bit of a tacky and raunchy vibe associated with them. And that's why the idea of Victoria's Secret launching a Fifty Shades of Grey-inspired line should make us all extremely happy. (Yes! They really might be doing one!)

According to insiders, there is supposedly a line currently being tested in France, and if it's for real, it is set to debut in Victoria's Secret stores in February 2013. And you'll love the reported tag line for the pieces in the collection: "Let your secrets stay secret."

And if these "insiders" are only trying to play some kind of prank on all of us who go nuts for all things Fifty Shades, and Victoria's Secret really isn't planning a new lingerie collection, if nothing else it's fun to think about.

OMG. Would this be an absolutely genius move on the part of Victoria's Secret or what?!? (They SO have to do this.) Since it's a place moms have been accustomed to shopping at for years without the slightest hint of shame or embarrassment, we'd easily be able to select pieces from the new Fifty Shades of Grey line whenever we're at the mall without feeling like we're doing something trashy or out of the ordinary.

Buying a hot little outfit to entice the man in our lives would be just as simple as picking up a new bra and underwear set -- and it would be a huge shock if the line didn't sell out in a matter of days when it first debuts. Oh man. Maybe we'd better go ahead and mark our calendars now, especially since the line (if there really is one) is set to release just before Valentine's Day. (Ooh-la-la.)

Are you excited about the possibility of this new Fifty Shades fashion line?

What about us kinky big girls? Really why do they always think skinny girls wear whore outfits. What about size 18 and up. Yeah Victoria does not care about them!

Except for the moms who have taste. They'll be busy rolling their eyes at the superfluous merchandising tie-in to a crappy book. If you want sexy lingerie from VS, you can buy it already. Bras won't be magically infused with any special sex magic just because it says "FSOG" on the tag.

To Cindy: LOTS of BDSM stores carry plus sizes and you can find MUCH better quality than what VS would offer!
