6 Sweet Election Day Deals for the Hottest Styles of the Season

Hot List 1

stacks of sweatersAt my polling place today, as far as I could tell, they did NOT have "I Voted" stickers. And for that, I'm all sorts of bummed, because as it turns out, waltzing around with that simple declaration will score you some SUPER deals. It's not just restaurants rewarding us for participating in our democracy with freebies and discounts galore ...

Retail stores and shopping websites are getting in on the fun, too, offering 20-50 percent off some of the season's cutest styles to celebrate Election Day! (And don't worry, depending on the store, you don't necessarily have to show proof of having hit the polls. But surely, it wouldn't hurt to get out there and VOTE!)

  1. Gap - At Gap.com, you can score an additional 20 percent off your entire purchase today (11/6) only when you use coupon code GAPVOTE at checkout. Or, if you'd rather, you can simply show your "I Voted" sticker to the cashier in-store to receive your 20 percent off your purchase that way!
  2. Macy's - You can save up to 50 percent sitewide at Macys.com during the store's Election Day Sale. Coupon code "ELECT" cuts an extra 20 percent off all men's, women's, and kids' apparel (including sale and clearance) or an extra 15 percent off home goods, shoes, watches, and more. Note: Shipping adds $9.95, but orders over $99 (before the discount) qualify for free shipping. Sales tax is added where applicable and exclusions apply. Coupon ends November 6.
  3. Groupon - The popular online coupon site has a few different Election Day-themed deals today -- for electronics to pets goods to bartending lessons -- inspired by the controversial election of 1883 featuring Jefferson Quincy and Monroe Chester.
  4. Old Navy - Okay, so it's not exactly election-themed, but women's dresses -- including frocks that could help you rock a FLOTUS and/or Ann Romney-inspired look -- are all on sale right now.
  5. Urban Outfitters - Urban Outfitters is offering a 20 percent discount in stores to voters wearing an “I Voted” sticker.
  6. New York & Co. - They're not saying it's their Election Day sale, either, but New York & Company is having two-day BOGO 50 percent off sale -- and everything is included! For more savings, place an order of $125 or more to qualify for free shipping. Sale ends tomorrow, 11/7.

Do you plan to take advantage of any of these -- or other -- Election Day deals?

My cardiovascular endurance went to a new level; for example, a previous 40 minute interval training on
the bike or treadmill was a serious challenge. Many billions are spent and the problem
is getting worse and worse. Your goal for breaking the low carb weight loss
plateau is to stabilize leptin levels and one way to
do that is to feed yourself a constant flow of food throughout the day.
