Quilted clothing, shoes, and accessories are back in style this fall, but you've got to be careful with this look or risk looking like your mom.
(Not that your mom isn't divine and very stylish. It's just that she's. Your mom.)
These RED Valentino flats are adorable and oh-so-of-the-moment.
They're also $295. Sad face.
But don't worry, girls. I've got some great quilted buys that'll fit the bill this fall without making you look frumpy -- click through to see them!
And tell me in the comments: What do you think of the quilted trend?
Get the Valentino look for much less with these pretty quilted ballerina flats (Topshop, $36). They look so cozy, don't they?
Ordinarily, I wouldn't advise wearing a quilted skirt, but this A-line skirt (Topshop, $90) manages to be edgy and cute. So I'm going to give it a thumbs-up!
A perfect investment piece this season is a pair of quilted leather gloves, like these divine Michael Kors gloves (Bluefly, $70). They'll be trendy this fall, but they'll never really go out of style, and with care (read, no snowball fights!), they'll last you for years.
I'm crazy about these quilted boots (Zappos, $62.99), which come at a great price and would look fabulous over skinny jeans.
One of my favorite ways to rock the quilted look is with a vest. This particular quilted vest (J.Jill, $69) isn't a bad price, comes in several colors, and can be dressed up or down. SCORE.
You'll be nobody in Davenport, Iowa this season without a glam quilted bag. I'm loving this Steve Madden quilted satchel (Zappos, $98), which looks very similar to several designer quilted bags I've seen this season that cost upwards of $1,000!
Finally, I'm struggling to say no to these HAUTE Gianni Bini quilted booties (Dillard's, $59.99). THESE BOOTIES NEED A HOME! Surely I can find a spot for them here ...
What do you think of these quilted finds?
