Snooki Shouldn't Be Bashed for Showing Off Skinny Post-Baby Body

SnookiSigh. No matter what they look like in the weeks after giving birth, celebrities just can't seem to catch a break when it comes to people talking negatively about their postpartum weight loss (or lack thereof.) And now that Snooki is showing off her amazing post-baby body and looks ridiculously good only a month after welcoming baby Lorenzo -- the haters are bound to come out of the woodwork.

Snooki shared this photo of herself on Twitter, and it's pretty hard to ignore the fact that she already appears to be back to her pre-baby size even though it's only been a matter of weeks. And already, people are asking whether or not she's "taking things too" far with her weight loss.

Oh, PLEASE.

Since when is feeling confident about your body and wanting to give yourself a pat on the back for getting back into shape after having a baby a bad thing? Any woman who's ever given birth will tell you that the first time someone snaps a photo of you where you actually feel like you look beautiful again, you just can't resist sharing it.

And forget about showing off our post-baby bodies for a second -- because women love flaunting pictures of themselves looking gorgeous regardless of whether or not they've recently had a child.

Be honest, how many times have you looked in the mirror after getting all gussied up for some special event and thought, "Damn, I look good." And then how many times have you immediately reached for your smartphone in order to capture the moment forever and share it with your family and friends so they can reaffirm just how great you look. (It's ok, we've ALL done it.)

And by the same token, how many times have you had your picture taken, and then decided that your outfit made you look fat or wasn't flattering enough, so you immediately deleted the photo so there would be no chance of it accidentally showing up on Facebook? (You know you've done that too.)

Bottom line -- Snooki (or any other woman for that matter) shouldn't have to hide or be embarrassed about being proud of how she looks, and she should absolutely share her post-baby progress with her fans and be applauded for it. After all, if we can't be happy for Snooki and tell her she looks gorgeous, then how can we expect anyone to do the same for us?

Do you intentionally share photos in which you know you look good? (Don't lie.)
