I'm all for a little pampering once in awhile. A zit-eradicating facial, a toe-curling massage, a Beyonce-worthy blow-out. And when it comes to beauty treatments, I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Though after hearing about Kelly Osbourne's absurd $250,000 manicure, I now know that some beauty treatments are just not worth it. And quite frankly, it's a little unconscionable.
The reason for the outrageous price-tag? Kelly's lacquer was created by jeweler Azature and made with 267 carats of powdered black diamonds. In this economy, it's the kind of senseless excess that really pisses people off. And scores lashed out at the star for wearing it.
Kelly -- as a star -- got the blinged out manicure for free. But people still slammed her for supporting such a ridiculous, would-be fad. Right before getting the pricey polish painted on, she posted a photo of the bottle with the following giddy quip on Instagram:
About to get a $250k manicure w nail polish made w blk diamonds made by @azature so excited & honored but absolutely shitting myself to have that much money on my nails!
After showing them off at the Emmys, days of backlash followed with fans calling it "ridiculous" and "offensive." She then took to Twitter to apologize -- sort of.

Not quite the mea culpa people were hoping for. But she's not the only star that loves totally over-the-top luxuries. Take a look at these other obscene buys.

If someone had offered it to me free of charge I absolutely would have done it.
I don't know if I would have done it, but if I did I certainly wouldn't have broadcasted it.
It was free, why the hell are people mad at her someone go yell at Azature for creating this ridiculous item not at the person who simply got a manicure for free. Sheesh!
she didnt pay for it, that was what it was worth. I would have accepted if it was free as well
