Lea Michele's New L'Oreal Ads Are a Big 'Told Ya So!' to the Haters

lea micheleShe can sing, she can act, she can protect Central Park horses, and now, Lea Michele has proven she can model. The Glee star is the new brand ambassador for L'Oreal Paris (think, you're worth it), and luckily, some photos from her campaign have been released. Like many a L'Oreal Paris spokeswoman before her (think, Beyonce, Eva Longoria, Gwen Stefani, Heather Locklear, Penelope Cruz, and Kyra Sedgwick, just to name a few), Lea looks stunning and strong in her pictorials.

The 26-year-old has some modeling and spokespersoning under her belt -- she's repped Candies for a while -- but this L'Oreal noise is big. And she's certainly up to the task. Lea's nailing it.

The star credits Glee for giving her confidence, and her self-assurance shines through. Maybe it's that X-factor that gives Lea's campaign that extra something special. Confidence combined with great hair and gorgeous skin? This woman can't be stopped.

But the best part about Lea's partnership with L'Oreal is that it's a big eff you to all those people who wanted her to get a nose job. Those people who said that if she wanted to make in Hollywood, she'd need to get plastic surgery, well, they can all shove it. Look at her now. She gettin' paper.

And, well, if there's anything I love more than a beautifully photographed ad campaign, it's the opportunity to tell someone "told you so!" I'm living vicariously through Lea here, obviously.

Ms. Michele says she's looking forward to spreading the L'Oreal gospel of embracing all different interpretations of beauty -- come on, forget that Rachel Berry stuff, Lea was born to play this role, don't you think?
