'Teen Mom' Catelynn Lowell's Wedding Dress Just Might Put Her Over the Edge
Now that Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell and her longtime beau Tyler Baltierra have set the date for their wedding -- July 13, 2013! -- everyone's itching to know more, more, more! Funny, you'd think that their nuptials being just a little under a year away would mean they've got plenty of time to piece it all together, but that's not necessarily true. It actually doesn't hurt to be ahead of the curve when it comes to quite a few details -- especially THE DRESS!
Being that some designers take up to more than half a year to ship your dress to the boutique you purchase from, going shopping 8-12 months out isn't a terrible idea. As it turns out, it sounds like Catelynn's already "said yes" to her gown! And she's sharing the scoop to the media ... (I hope the groom's refraining from reading the mags she dished to!)
InTouch actually has pics in this week's issue of Catelynn wearing her "gorgeous floor-length strapless gown." They report that because the couple is marrying in a traditional church ceremony, her dress is traditional as well -- in that it's "classic white." But that's not to say that it doesn't also have a pop! A bit of designer pizazz!
Wetpaint reports that from the bottom down, the dress is "feathered and flouncy," a style that totally fits Catelynn's personality and "edge." Love it!
More from The Stir: 'Teen Mom' Catelynn Lowell's Wedding Weight Loss Plan Is a Wise Move
As much as I abhor cookie-cutter weddings, I'd take a generic wedding dinner/DJ/cake over a boring dress that doesn't suit the bride any day! When I was looking for my own dress, I definitely wanted it to reflect my personality. Without giving too much away -- a bride's gotta leave some surprise for the Big Day! -- certain aspects of the dress I chose really fit my personality: From the lovely lace to the ivory/light gold color combo, the vintage corset to the curve-hugging silhouette. It was love at first sight -- because that dress was so ME at first sight. As it should be for every bride.
Sounds like Catelynn's dress suits her perfectly, too. No doubt that come her wedding day next summer, not only will her dress be a winning focal point, but she's going to ROCK it!
How did/will your wedding dress reflect your personality? Do you think it sounds like Catelynn's fits hers?
