Pippa Middleton Pippa Middleton has been making headlines due to her recent whirlwind trip to New York. The famous Maid of Honor apparently had dinner at a posh NYC eatery; she was wined and dined by a baller hotelier; and of course, she wore stuff. The Duchess of Cambridge's tennis-mad younger sister made an appearance at the U.S. Open on Tuesday, and her $600 color-block dress from Paper London -- and matching nude shoes and Kate Spade bag -- have been all the rage ever since ... despite the fact that she looks like a sexy 1950s housewife in the outfit.

Pippa is gorgeous -- and I love me some color blocking -- but, I don't know, just not feeling this dress. It definitely shows off her unbelievable figure, but I think she could have worn something more fun -- an outfit instead of just a dress. Something a little more youthful. I love that she and sis Kate always keep it classy and G-rated, but it would be great to see one of them spice it up once in a while.

On the other hand, though, I do think this is probably one of those outfits that looks much better in person than in photographs. I'm sure Pippa turned many a head in that sexy June Cleaver situation she has going on, what with her tan skin and silky (but not Duchess silky) hair. So, despite my having just written, oh, I don't know, about 250 words on this dress, it's pretty hard to get a real read without seeing it in person. So I'll just shut up now. Bai.
