Emily Maynard got the sweetest proposal ever from Jef Holm on The Bachelorette finale last night -- and she also got herself a serious piece of bling! One of the best parts of every season is when Neil Lane pops up on the final episode to show off a briefcase of fancy diamonds, and last night's finale was no exception.
Actually, Emily Maynard's engagement ring is reportedly worth $150,000, and it's also the largest ring in the history of The Bachelor & The Bachelorette.
The exact weight of the humongous diamond hasn't been revealed, but by the looks of it, I'd guess that it's somewhere around five or six carats.
That ring would stand out on any woman's finger, but considering just how petite Emily is (she's really, really tiny), it looks pretty humongous on hers. And as gorgeous and perfect as the ring is, I'd be a little bit leery of wearing it out in public if I were her.
Something that large and shiny seems like a perfect target for thieves, and I'd be kind of terrified to walk through the crowded streets of a large city or other public venue where there are tons of people. You never know who is watching, so it might not be a bad idea for Emily to turn the ring the other way and literally hold that huge rock in the palm of her hand instead of putting it out there for the world to see.
Of course, I doubt anyone will blame her for wanting to show that thing off. It really is exquisite, to say the least. (And the guy who gave it to her isn't too shabby either.)

Would you be nervous to wear a ring as large as Emily's?
