Kelly Osbourne's hair color may be kinda whack, but her style is spot on. She's unafraid to take risks and always accessorized to the T. My favorite part? She's not constantly drenched in designer duds. In fact, she tells People that big name items aren't always worth the splurge. In other words, she's TOTALLY into knockoffs.
"Save your money to get a nice bag and a nice pair of shoes," Kelly says. "Nobody knows that you're not wearing what it is meant to look like. That's what I do."
A woman after my own heart! Kelly hosts Fashion Police. She's gotta be in the know about these sorta things, you know?
Personally, I am so with Kelly on this one. Aside from the fact that I don't have the funds to be purchasing expensive clothes and accessories on the reg, I think it's more fun hunting for a good deal sans the label. Who doesn't love pulling off a "fake" bag knowing that everyone else thinks it's real? Heck, who wants to buy a pair of actual pricey Louboutins a la Kim Kardashian when you could just get creative and whip up a pair of red-bottomed shoes at home?
Straight up: just because something isn't designer doesn't mean it can't look rad. I find some of my favorite and most complimented pieces from thrift shops and inexpensive run-of-the-mill spots like Old Navy, Forever 21, and H&M, many of which are designed to look like something much more expensive. There's no doubt in my mind that if Kelly can look bomb on a budget, then so can the rest of us.

I don't support knock-offs because the sale of them often support other crimes. Like drug trafficking, and child exploitation. More people should understand that. Who cares about a fake designer bag really? Most of them are tacky and ugly, I don't find rocking a fake or real one empowering.
I agree with Jennifer above. They're illegal and tied to crime rings and there is nothing fashionable about that.
