After seeing photos of Kim Kardashian wearing this fitted, navy blue dress, the first thing that entered my mind was that it looks an awful lot like something Kate Middleton would wear. Doesn't it remind you of the Issa dress she wore when she & Prince William announced their engagement? She chose the dress for the opening of her new Dash store in L.A. over the weekend, and apparently the outfit was Kanye West approved, which makes sense, since he apparently wants her to look more like Kate.
Whether Kim was intentionally trying to look like the Duchess or not, she definitely gave off a royal vibe with this look. And considering the Givenchy frock costs $1,057, it certainly comes with a price tag fit for a princess.
But this isn't the first time Kim & Kate have been caught wearing the same thing. Back in June, the Duchess turned up in a red Alexander McQueen dress that Kim had worn a year earlier -- though Kate clearly won the fashion showdown, of course.
Considering that Kourtney Kardashian's baby daddy, Scott Disick, just became British royalty, could it be that Kim was trying to make a statement about who the true king & queen of the family are? Or is she just so impressed with Kate's style that she can't resist copying it? (Or maybe she's just trying to keep her man happy.)
One thing's for sure -- Kate's fashion sense has caught the eye of plenty of women. Aside from Kim, Rihanna wore the exact same dress just last week. I guess not even celebrities can resist trying to look like a princess.

That dress does not look good on her. It makes her look 4 sizes bigger than she is.
@HeathetMazzone I thought the same thing. Kim has changed up her style and it hasnt been looking good since she's been with Kanye.
It's like Heather said, she's not big, not at all, but that dress is far too tight, just plain unflattering. If the top half were the same but the bottom draped loosely, it would look beautiful on her.
This outfit is not doing her curvy figure any favors.
This dress is not for her. And eww to Kanye for trying to change her. I think Kim craves the attention of a man like Kanye who will try to control her.
This dress is not her friend. I know that in real life, she is curvy, but still tiny... this dress makes her look big. Stop listening to Kanye... "Imma let you get dressed in a minute...but Kate Middleton has the best wardrobe of all time, of ALL TIME!"
