She's normally seen wearing super short skirts that hug every curve of her body, but Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese really cleaned up her act & modified her style to try and impress the judge on her day in court.

Deena was arrested last month for public intoxication, and while she was a sloppy mess when her mug shot was taken, she actually looked pretty put together & classy in this tasteful black & white dress. At first glance, it's kind of hard to tell that she's the same girl whose wild behavior has made her famous in the land of reality TV.

And how about those pumps she's got on? (Yes, I'm referring to her shoes, not "fist" pumps.) Paired with her sheer black pantyhose, Deena appears almost civilized, doesn't she? (But talk about a sweat-fest. It's pretty darn hot in the northeast this week.)

One thing's for sure, this particular outfit was a far cry from the embarrassing bikini malfunction Deena had while frolicking in the surf with her fellow Jersey Shore cast mates a few weeks back. (She really ought to think about going the conservative route more often.)

Dressing the part for court seems to be a trend in the fame-world, as there are definitely other actresses who have done a total fashion transformation to put out the innocent vibe. Lindsay Lohan has hopped on the sweet & subdued bandwagon on more than one occasion for sure. And how about Teen Mom Amber Portwood? Before she went to jail, she tried to look the part of a "normal" girl too.

Heck, even Snooki toned things down quite a bit for the courtroom. I wonder if she gave Deena some tips on what to wear?
