Miley Cyrus Breaks Our Achy Hearts With ‘Patriotic’ July 4 Outfit (PHOTOS)

by Mary Fischer on July 5, 2012 at 1:15 PM

Miley CyrusHer outfits are nothing short of over-the-top these days, and the 4th of July was no exception for Miley Cyrus, who tweeted a pic of herself wearing a denim get-up complete with gold fringe, blue sequins, a patriotic tiara, and bright red lipstick. (God bless the U.S.A. y'all.)

Doesn't she remind you of something straight out of her dad's hit single, "Achy-Breaky Heart"? Because that's the first thing that came to mind when I saw this photo. And while I'm sure Miley was probably going for a festive, sexy vibe -- this outfit really put out more of a trashy feel (to say the least.)

But Miley isn't the only celeb who donned wacky attire to celebrate July 4th yesterday. Take a look at the photos below to see five more celebs who took their attempt at being patriotic to a whole new level.

Do you always wear red, white, and blue for July 4th?

Lindsay Lohan wore white & showed off new red hair, but forgot the blue.

That's an adorable top. She's an adult. She completely rocks it. It's so not trashy.

She reminds me more of a mouseketeer. She wasnt going for cute. Otherwise why the push up bra? My friends wear either red or white or blue t shirts. My favorite is a blue shirt with red & white fireworks on it.
