miley cyrusWe can finally put to bed that age old question that's been bugging us for decades: "Who wears short shorts?" The answer, friendsicles, is Miley Cyrus. The newly engaged 19-year-old was out doing a little shopping in Los Angeles yesterday in a white crop top, white cut-offs, and a red flannel tied around her waist. She added a little grit to the look with her awesome motorcycle boots, but it wasn't this early '90s get-up that got people talking ... it was her, uh, cheeky reveal when she bent over.

Poor girl was just trying to pick out a shirt and now we're all staring at her ass.

Not that there's anything (too) wrong with that -- Miley looks great. You're only 19 once, so now's the time to show off what you're working with if ever there was one. Better to get it out of your system now rather than find yourself in your mid-50s flashing a nip to the world.

Not sure what the motivation was for this outfit, though -- attention? did she not know the shorts were that short? did she plan on wearing the flannel around her waist at all times, then something changed? -- regardless, you kind of have to wonder what did or didn't go through her head when putting this on. She knows paparazzi are going to be following her; you'd think she'd make a small effort to cover up her private-ish areas. 

I'm just going to go ahead and chalk this up to a hot body 19-year-old being a hot body 19-year-old. Miley didn't invent short shorts, they've been around forever. She's just a girl, bending over in a store, giving the world the answer we've been waiting for. Who wears short shorts? Miley. Miley wears short shorts.
