I never thought the day would come when I actually praised Lindsay Lohan for her style -- but I really just can't find one bad thing to say about her new Elizabeth Taylor inspired wardrobe. She's been busy filming scenes for her upcoming Lifetime movie, Liz & Dick, where she'll take on the role of the iconic actress.
When she was first cast in the film, I wasn't sure she was the right choice to play Liz -- but after seeing her in costume? It's pretty obvious why they picked her. She's the spitting image of Elizabeth, especially in this leopard-print bathing suit.
Doesn't she look gorgeous? The whole retro vibe suits her, and believe it or not, she really seems to have the old Hollywood glamour thing nailed down. And even though she's in the middle of filming scenes, she looks genuinely happy. Whether her smile was part of the act or not, playing Liz may be exactly the kick she needs to get her life and career back on track.
Of course, I guess this wouldn't be a proper LiLo movie shoot without a little bit of drama. And when one of her breasts popped out of her dress in the middle of another scene she was shooting? That pretty much won the award for the wardrobe malfunction to end all wardrobe malfunctions. Nobody likes having a nip slip at the most inopportune moment -- even Lindsay.

I really hope she keeps the dark hair.... it looks SO much better on her than that awful blond she was sporting!
Am I the only one who doesn't think Lindsay looks as much like Liz as people are saying she does? I don't see it. Yeah, her hair and makeup and wardrobe are all right, but Lindsay's cosmetically enhanced lips kind of ruin it. Sorry, just my opinion.
Liz Taylor must be rolling in her grave knowing this is the person portraying her in a movie. I find it extremely disrespectful to the late great (classy) Liz Taylor.
@SinatrasKitten - Taylor was no less a trollop and attention whore then than Lindsay Lohan is today. One can't be disrespectful to a person who deserves no respect in the 1st place.
Taylor may have been a talented actress (arguable), but classy she was NOT. She had numerous affairs, and contributed to the breakup of at least one marriage. She was a grasping, greedy woman who demanded jewelry and furs in addition to whatever she was paid for films. She married much younger and well below her station purely for sex (try and think of any other reason to marry Fortensky).
Elizabeth Taylor was the original tabloid queen, long before Lindsay Lohan arrived on the scene. Yes, she cleaned up her act in her later years. But portraying Taylor as some kind of sainted virgin ingenue is total revisionist history crap.
She doesn't look that much like Liz, but the characterization does make her look like a young Liz (although young Liz was much more refined). It's a movie, they are in character.
Camilla Belle looks more like La Liz, or Megan Fox.
