You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand why people love Uggs. They're comfy, cozy, require minimal effort to put on and take off. I get it. But when it comes to your wedding day, are they really the shoes you're going to want to wear when you say your vows? Apparently, those fuzzy material-lovin' Australians are positive that for some brides, the answer to this question is a resounding "YES!" Otherwise, there's no way they would have actually released their brand new wedding Uggs, which they're promoting with the tagline, "Your wedding just got cozier."
Although some bloggers are quick to call it the "worst idea ever" (ha), I guess there's nothing wrong with brides having one more footwear option on their Big Day. Here, five more bridal footwear options for your trek down the aisle that may be "unique" but aren't necessarily as Ugg-ly ...

Im wearing an 1800's style boot for my wedding day. Has the heel, western toe and lace up the sides that are see through...in ivory. I wanted to wear my cowboy boots (its a very low-key country wedding) but since i am wearing my grandma's antique wedding dress I took her input. I didnt want dressy heels and she didnt want me wearing boots with her 1950's style antique lace dress....
So, we compromised =)
Well, I know for sure I definitely won't be wearing high heels on my big day as I don't have the best of backs. I do have nice dressy flat white shoes so will probably get them cleaned up and wear them.
Nothing says Romance and Marital Bliss like "Uggs!"
Ok, if you're not going to quit using those infernal slide shows, can you at least give us a warning in the title, like you do with (video) or (photos)? Then I know that I don't need even look at the story.
UGGS are disgusting. Here in California we have girls who wear them in the middle of Summer with SHORTS and tanktops. What is wrong with you? Sure, if you live in Minnesota or Alaska and wear them to keep you feet warm, I guess that is acceptable. But, why should a sheep have to die, have his skin turned insideout, cured, and then wrapped around your foot so you can sweat all over it? I should be wearing a pair of California girl skin boots on my feet right now.
I refuse to look through a slide show.
I would totally wear the wedding uggs if I was having a winter wedding and I absolutly ADORE the cowboy boots and moccasins!!!! And at Erika they don't kill the sheep they shear them AKA they shave them! No sheep were harmed in the making of uggs or any other sheerling product.
