Jordin SparksLast night's Billboard Music Awards were nothing short of fab-u-lous. Between Jordin Sparks and John Legend's tear-jerking tribute performance to the late Whitney Houston, Adele's utter domination of the evening with 12 awards, and Taylor Swift making history as the youngest person ever to receive the Woman of the Year Award, there was no shortage of entertaining moments at the big Las Vegas shebang.

There was also no lack of fantastically dressed A-listers, either. From Katy Perry's bold purple frock to Carrie Underwood's fairy-tastic ball gown, take a look at 5 of last night's biggest fashion show-stoppers:

Wow. Is it just me, or is this like -- a total Carrie Bradshaw moment for Miley?

I've gotta admit, I don't hate it. Although, it does sort of look like the budding gym addict accidentally forgot her pants at home. It's a little morning after/Risky Business for my taste. If she wanted to make a splash, she was certainly successful. And that hair/makeup combo! Wowza.

Do you think Katy's a fan of purple? The starlet rocked this mermaid-looking purple gown. Not my taste, but it's just so Katy I can't even hate her for it.

  • Taylor Swift

Wow. Just ... wow. I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and say this is the best I think Taylor Swift has ever looked. The Woman of the Year award winner is dazzling in this deep red Elie Saab gown.

Jordin's come a long way from her days on American Idol, and I think it's safe to say that this gown toting a leather bustier is a home run.

  • Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood could wear a brown paper bag out in public and look absolutely amazing. Yeah, this whole lilac ballgown is a sort of extreme, but there's no denying that she still looks bomb.

Sort of funny, when you think about it. Compared to how underdressed Justin Bieber looked, Carrie looks like red carpet royalty!
