Mother's Day Jewelry That Mom Will Actually Want to Wear

by Sasha Brown-Worsham on May 9, 2012 at 2:47 PM

Mother's Day is a weird holiday for jewelry. All of the available accessories can be a bit on the lame side. But in recent years, that has been changing with new companies and Etsy shops that make handmade jewelry that is personalized, lovely, and meaningful.

On my first Mother's Day, my husband had a locket made with a photo of himself and of our daughter together. It was one of the most meaningful gifts I ever received. And while I am no fan of "push presents," I am a fan of Mother's Day gifts if they mean something.

So here are a few cool ways moms can honor their children and get pretty jewelry, to boot! See below:

What do you want for Mother's Day?

Birthstone Jewelry

This beautiful ring holds the birthstones of several babies. I especially like it because it isn't so obvious, but can be very meaningful and colorful. It's sold on Etsy.

I really want a Kindle Fire.  It's not a gift you get for Mother's Day but it's the only thing I truly want right now.  So, if my daughter makes me a card or breakfast or something like that, I will be happy really.
