Kate Middleton's Secret Skin Weapon Now Available to Commoners

kate middletonIf the woman who gives Kate Middleton facials wants to dole out skin advice, I'm listening. And if she wants to sell the mask she uses on Kate's royal porcelain skin, I'm buying. Well, not really, 'cause that s**t is expensive, but if I were rich, I totally would, because, dude, we're talking Kate Middleton's skin here.

Facialist to the stars, Deborah Mitchell, whose celebrity roster also includes Victoria Beckham, is making the crap she rubs all over Kate Middleton's complexion available to the public. In a few days, 500 jars of Mitchell's limited edition Heaven Golden Bee Venom mask will be on sale -- at almost $600 a pop. Crazy, right? Right! But wait! You haven't heard what the mask does. Some say it's actually better than Botox (no, really).

Mitchell's original (much cheaper) Bee Venom mask is said to "control the facial muscles for immediate lifting, tightening, and firming, whilst getting to work on frown lines and wrinkles." In other words, it plumps your mug up (like all "venom" products allegedly do). But the limited edition version has "double the secret ingredient" of the original mask, so you best believe your face is going to look nine million years younger. Well, not really. It's a nice thought, though. And, hey, I do think there actually is something to this treatment -- unlike the other "Botox in a Bottle" treatment associated with Kate Middleton.

Both Catherine and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall have been going to Deborah Mitchell for facials for years, so, the woman has to know something about masks and clear complexions and venom and all that. I mean, if it's good enough for Kate, right? However, I do think that $600 is insane for a mask, and I'm venturing to guess that the results of this thing are fleeting, unlike, well, actual Botox (which is semi-fleeting). That said though, again, if I were rich, I'd totally send my servants out for a box or two of this. It sounds like the perfect thing to slather on before a big event. Like, say, a royal wedding.

What's the most amount of money you ever shelled out in the name of beauty?

Given that Kate really doesn't look that good for thirty I'm not sure why anyone would shell out for it. It's meant to prevent and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and it clearly doesn't.

I don't spend much on beauty and most of my beauty products are foods.
