That Suri Cruise, she's one lucky little lady. Not just because she got to have, like, the coolest 6th birthday EVAH and go to American Girl Store in NYC. But because, DUH -- she's Katie Holmes' daughter! I mean come ON, do you SEE how happenin' KT is these days?
Exhibit A: the dress momma wore out and about in the Big Apple yesterday. How cute, right? As if I wasn't a major fan of maxi dresses as it is, Katie has to go pairing it with a fun spring jacket and make the whole thing look absolutely flawless. Not to mention, is this not a perfect (and easy) look for a momma on the go? Yup!
Want to get Katie's great spring look? Check out these 6 fun and flirty maxi dresses:

I adore the inverted V pattern on this colorblock maxi dress ($27.99, target.com).

Every woman needs basics and this halter cheesecloth maxi beach dress ($50.90, asos.com) is just perfection. I like it because it's simple, but the halter detailing and sweetheart neckline give it an extra bit of oomph.

Looking for something a little more fun? This MM couture dress ($98, macys.com) just screams summer sun goddess to me. How good would that yellow color look with a tan!?

Have a little fun with patterns rockin' this Staring at Stars burnout maxi dress ($59, urbanoutfitters.com).

Of course, there's nothing better than a classic straight silhouetted maxi. This jersey maxi tank dress ($29.94, oldnavy.com) comes in three great colors, and would look killer with a cute denim jack and a pair of wedges.

Last but not least, who doesn't love a cheap maxi?! This essential smocked maxi dress ($12.80, forever21.com) has a smocked bodice that hugs the girls, and then flows loosely to the ground. Not into blue? No worries -- it comes in pink too.
Are you into maxi dresses? What is your spring style must-have?

LOVE that Target one! I think maxi dresses can look good on any woman, you just need to find the right fit for you, like with any other piece of clothing. Zach, I don't think ALL men hate maxi dresses. They're an easy and comfy look for summer - can't wait to buy some!
That Target one and the Old Navy ones are really cute. Unfortunately, since I'm 5 feet nothing they're all too long on me!
