Heidi Klum's Naked 'Allure' Photo Isn't Picture Perfect (VIDEO)

heidi klumHeidi Klum may be going through a difficult time in her life after her shocking split from husband, Seal, but one thing about her definitely hasn't faltered -- her confidence and positive self image.

It would be so easy to just cower away and want to hide from the world in the wake of something so personal, but instead, Heidi went ahead and put herself out there by posing nude for Allure magazine. And before you start hating on her for how amazing she looks in the buff after having four kids -- take a closer look at the photo.

Yes, she's thin and toned -- but her stomach still has a bit of a rounded curve to it, which is understandable considering she's been pregnant four times. But what really struck me about this photo is that unlike other magazine shots, this one actually looks real to me. Heidi doesn't appear to have been photo-shopped or airbrushed, which fits perfectly with her philosophy on making any sort of unnatural alteration to her appearance. Here is her take on the subject:

I’m proud to be able to say, in this day and age, I haven’t done anything. Everyone has a view of what’s not pretty and [surgery] just doesn’t look pretty to me. Especially when I see it on really young girls. I don’t want to name names but it's like, Wow, I remember you five years ago, looking to me so beautiful, and now its like ... who is this person?

As a supermodel, you can only imagine the kind of pressure that Heidi must get to have every square inch of her body be perfect even after having babies. Remember when she was back on the Victoria's Secret runway like six weeks after giving birth? (Way to bounce back!)

Granted, it's been almost three years since she was pregnant the last time around, but you've gotta love that what we see in that photo is really her -- and not the result of liposuction or a tummy tuck. Maybe we can all learn a thing or two from Heidi about appreciating and accepting our bodies the way they are, and seeing ourselves as beautiful no matter what our shape.

And Heidi even has some tips on how to avoid looking frumpy while pregnant, which you can hear in the video clip below.

Would you be comfortable posing nude after having kids?
