Pregnancy suits Snooki. She's glowing, and not in a spray-tan, oiled-up kind of way, but in a natural and serene sort of way. The Jersey Shore star and mom-to-be must be feeling pretty good because she tweeted a photo of herself last night looking darn happy. Showing off her new hairdo -- she calls her new locks "Barbie hair extensions" -- Snooki shows us a great way to rev up our look, in a safe way, while pregnant. Since it's not recommended that expectant mothers dye their hair, extensions are a safe way to change up your 'do. I never thought Snooki would be an example of the right way to do anything fashion-wise or pregnancy-wise, but she's nailing it with this look.

A little bit Kardashian, a little bit Morticia, a lot a bit Barbie, Snooki's extensions play up her fun-loving side. Since they're temporary, she can love them then leave them. So can you. Extensions don't have to be super expensive or super high-end, especially if you're only going to wear them for a short amount of time. Snap them in, brush them out, wear them for a night or a month or whatever, then toss them. When you're pregnant, your tastes change anyway, so changeable options are key.
If Snooki can do it, you can do it. Extensions come in all sizes and colors, in all lengths and textures, so find the ones that are right for you and treat yourself to some new hair. They're a harmless way, pregnant or not, to fill your desire for a change without any of the permanency.
(One last thing: Snooki's face. Is pregnancy filling it out in the best way possible, or did she get something done? Either way, she looks amazing.)
Would you ever consider extensions?
