Everyone has break-outs. Even if you're super rich, all the money and science in the world won't stop your skin from, er, expressing itself with some red spots here and some blackheads there. Zits are one of the world's greatest equalizers and they're a fact of life. Just ask Kim Kardashian. She's got truck loads of money and has access to the best skin treatments in the world, but even she's got some undeniable blotchiness.
We all know that Kim has psoriasis -- I think everyone remembers that episode where she understandably freaks out about the spots on her body. The 31-year-old reality star was just caught leaving a medi-spa in L.A. with an irritated forehead, sparking rumors that her skin condition is worsening, or that she just got some big ol' Botox injected into her forehead.
Kim's dermatological issues look familiar to me, and probably to a few of you, as well. No one's safe from the big bad zit monster, no matter what your socio-economic status.
She was seen later that night with flawless-looking skin, proving that the wonders of makeup are endless. I'm sure she spends a lot of time and money on trying to improve her skin from the inside out, but sometimes you have to rely on makeup for a quick fix.
And you don't have to spend a fortune on the stuff, either. Kim's got professionals to ensure her blotchiness is concealed, but it's not that hard to DIY. Whether you're a Kardashian, a broke college student, or a middle-aged mother of three, your skin can be fickle, but that doesn't mean it's not topically fixable. Take this girl, for example. She uses average-priced makeup to cover up her skin's imperfections and my god, it's amazing.
How do you deal with a bad skin day/week/lifetime?
