Every season, I completely ignore a number of trends simply because they're not very realistic for 99.9 percent of us. (Example: leather shorts.)
The peplum dress, though, seems like it was made for moms -- and with celebs like Charlize Theron and Jennifer Aniston sporting them, we now have a way to cover up a typical problem area in style!
'Peplum' is the word for a short, decorative overskirt -- peplum jackets are in right now, too, but I think they're more difficult to pull off than the peplum dress.
The right peplum dress can add hourglass curves, make your waist look smaller, and hide the dreaded 'pooch.'
