My skin has been having some issues lately. It's dry, it's oily, it's breaking out...and there are reasons behind it -- hormones and the change of season. When our hormones are raging, our skin often suffers. Acne is not just for teenagers!
Plus, the lower temperatures and indoor heating can affect your whole body -- you have to winterize your skin. But I also have to admit that over the last few months I have been using an inexpensive brand of face wash and it's made matters worse. So I went back to my pricey, but amazing, skin care regimen and my face is looking a lot better. What is it?
B. Kamins! I use the entire line for acne-prone skin and it works really well for me.
Cafe Kristen let me know that Oprah had Paula Begoun, makeup maven and author of Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me, on her show recently talking about great face lotions. B. Kamins made her list. Here are the others:

Did your face moisturizer make the list?
If not, let me know what works best for you!

What about some less expensive moisturizers? I know a lot of us don't have the money to shell out for face cream.
For My Kids (http://www.formykidsonline.com/) makes a great one-step face care product. It's called My Mommy's Face Care (http://www.formykidsonline.com/My_Mommy's_Face_Care.htm). I put a little bit on my fingers, rub it on my face, and wipe it off with a dry washcloth. It gently takes EVERYTHING off (even eye make-up) and I don't have to use a separate moisturizer.
samgerbine, Before I started using the product from For My Kids, I just used plain coconut oil (you can get it in the cooking oil section at the grocery store).
I've got news for you guys. AVON's Anew Moisturizers, Skin-So-Soft, and many more are WONDERFUL (because I use them everyday and I get great compliments all the time), and they cost a LOT less than the ones that Oprah mentioned, because she can afford them! Check out www.youravon.com/sewing.
I agree with Mommashari. Avon's moisturizers are wonderful, and for those who can't afford to shell out a lot of money for skincare, the Avon Solutions line is wonderful. It has formulas for dry, normal-to-oily, and aging skin, as well as targeted products for specific issues, all at discount store prices. Check out www.youravon.com/shotzel.
