kardashian kollection lingerieThat Khloe Kardashian has a way of making a lot more sense than her sisters sometimes. Even if she's standing next to them looking just as overly coiffed and ridiculously Oompa Loompa-hued in the new ads for their Kardashian Kollection lingerie line. And even if she has no problem with being Photoshopped to all get out in said ads. She still said something completely lucid and revealing when she chatted with People last month.

Obviously, we all know 5'10" Khloe is an Amazonian goddess, especially when compared to her uber-petite sisters. She's probably been insecure about that her whole life, and so when she admits that "it's a little nerve-wracking being next to Kourtney and Kim in lingerie or a bikini," you gotta feel for her a bit. However, I really do wish she would OWN IT and realize that it's a blessing in disguise. 

And look at that! My wish was granted in the second part of her quote!

Although she had just confessed her insecurity, she went on to give it a super-positive spin and say, "But that’s the blessing of having a line that’s designed by three different body-shaped women." 

Yes! Awesome! Good for you, Khloe! Although I'm not really going to drop everything and run to Sears to buy me some Kardashian Kollection threads, I do appreciate that the line is designed by women for women. And by women who happen to be three different shapes and sizes: Kim may be little in the middle, but the whole world knows she got much back. And I can personally attest that it is hard as hell to find clothing made for shorter women who are built with actual butts, hips, thighs, etc. Kourtney is stereotypically small all over, but now she's preggers, so I wonder if a Kardashian Kollection maternity line is next?! And it sounds like Khloe realizes she brings a lot to the party as well, as she's able to inform designs that will flatter taller, curvier women.

As most of us know, it can be incredibly frustrating to be a woman having to select from styles that were clearly designed by men or even by other women with only sky-high, pin-thin models in mind. So thank goodness for the Kardashian sisters. Their TV show gigs may not always keep it real, but at least it sounds like their Kollection attempts to!
