Lauren Conrad was smart to parlay her fame from starring on MTV's The Hills into a successful career as a fashion designer and all-around style icon.
She's one of my absolute favorite 20-something stylistas, managing to always look both current and classic -- edgy and yet ... ladylike. It's a feat that few are able to truly manage.
It's no small wonder, then, that her Paper Crown Fall 2012 collection shows so much promise. Her clothes manage to be flirty, fun, and elegant.
She just released the entire lookbook on her website.
I'm loving the khaki trenchcoat featured on the cover, aren't you?

A little more length on this skirt and it would be perfect for work. As it is, though, it's both flirtatious and demure at once.
Two words for this skirt: I DIE.
This dress is girlish and fun -- I wouldn't wear it now, but I would have LOVED it in my early 20s.
This is an outfit I would TOTALLY wear.
The line won't be available until August 2012, but a girl can dream, right? (And save her cash.) I think Lauren Conrad is definitely emerging as an accessible designer to keep an eye on in the coming years.
What do you think of Paper Crown's fall line?
