Clearly, Louis Vuitton called it right by whipping up spring dresses in a whimsical, oversized eyelet lace pattern.
So far, SEVEN magazines have featured the look on their covers, worn by everyone from Christina Ricci to Kate Moss to Lana Del Ray.
Designers have been quick to get on board the eyelet trend for spring -- You can find all kinds of eyelet frocks for up to $2,000 online.
Lucky for us, though, it's an inexpensive fabric, generally speaking, and there are plenty of low cost alternatives.
Click through to see them, and get a look at the magazine covers featuring Louis Vuitton's eyelet interpretation.
Then tell me in the comments ...
Will you wear the look this spring?
And now, a look at the other magazines that have featured the Louis Vuitton dress on their covers:

Want to copy the look on a budget? Here are a few ideas ...
This eyelet dress (Madison Los Angeles, $88) mimics the couture styles, at a fraction of the price.
Those of you on a strict budget will appreciate this pretty eyelet sundress (Forever 21, $29.80).
For a more formal affair, I'm loving this Thread Social dress (The Outnet, $174). Sure it's pricy, but it was originally $435!
What do you think of the eyelet trend? Will you wear it?
