sofia vergaraSofia Vergara is one of the hottest women alive. The Modern Family star is not only drop dead gorgeous, but she's hilarious, too. And that accent! Come on. She's got it all. The only thing about her is that she seems to be covered in heavy makeup 24/7. I think she and the Kardashians have the same sort of beauty routine where they stick their faces in a bucket of concealer and then paint their eyes on using black sharpie. They never look bad, but they never look natural.

That's why it's refreshing to see Sofia's makeup-free face. This photo was snapped early in the morning while she was on set, and it's obvious it was taken before she spent any time in the hair and makeup trailer.

I think she looks good. She definitely looks a little older than she usually does, but there's nothing wrong with that. She appears a little tired and a bit worn out, but she doesn't look too worse for the wear. I'm sure she was up late working and had a long day ahead of her -- I'd look a little run down too if I had her schedule.

I also like that her face doesn't look like it's been Botoxed to hell. There are some visible lines but I'd take that any day over those gross Botox bumps and plastic foreheads.

Clearly she has great bone-structure (those cheekbones!) and great skin, so she could get away with wearing less makeup. There's a happy medium somewhere between this bare face photo and the layers upon layers of foundation, eyeliner, lipstick, and blush that she's generally seen in.

All in all, no surprise: Sofia is, and always will be, muy beautiful.
