miley cyrusWhen most people go to grab coffee, they wear jeans and a t-shirt. When Miley Cyrus goes to grab coffee, she wears motorcycle boots, studded shorts, and, how should we say, zestful tights. Then again, Miley's not just anyone. She's got hundos o' millions and drives one bad-ass car. If she dresses like a washed up lady of ill-repute, it's more than just acceptable, it's stylish, right? So let's talk about her outfit and decide if this is an ensemble we can get behind.

I think the most logical place to start is the tights. Or pantyhose. Or garter belts? Hard to tell exactly what we're looking at, isn't it. Let's dive right in.

Turns out, her hybrid pair of leg wear is part of the Pretty Polly collection, and they are, indeed, tights. Tights with suspenders, that is. The so-called alluring design combines tights and garter belts into a seductive, all-in-one style. Ooh la la. Tre trashtastic.

I'm not really a big fan of the look. It's a little too Taylor Momsen or Ke$ha for me, and those two just love to look like they just rolled off an air mattress in Travis Barker's basement. These kids can't get enough of the '90s-grunge-meets-wasted-hipster style, but it's only a matter of time before they'll be asked to shower and hand over the tube of body paint. Who'll do the asking remains to be seen, but if I have to fly to L.A. and force them to wash, so be it.

We'll have to wait and see if Miley sticks to this style, but she seems to be a fan of the tights-under-shorts combo, so it's likely we'll see her in a similar look again soon. Too soon, if you ask me. I'm not particularly a fan. She looks totally acceptable, but I don't think she looks particularly stylish.
